L5113 ANNOUNCEMENT FOR BIDS NOTICE TO RECEIVE SEALED BIDS CITY OF LYNN HAVEN 7TH STREET DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS Bid This project consists of 7th Street drainage improvements located along 7th Street between Ohio Ave. and Anderson Bayou for approximately 1,870 LF draining into Anderson Bayou. Technical specifications and tender documents may be obtained from Dewberry, 203 Aberdeen Parkway, Panama City, Florida 32405 – (850) 522.0644. The cost of plans and specifications will be $25.00 per set and is non-refundable. Checks should be made payable to DEWBERRY. A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held for bidding contractors at City Hall for the City of Lynn Haven, 825 Ohio Avenue, Lynn Haven, Florida 32444 on March 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. CST, a site visit will take place immediately after the Meeting. Tenders will be received on April 27, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. CST, at Lynn Haven City Hall, 825 Ohio Avenue, Lynn Haven, Florida 32444, and will be opened and read aloud. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Town of Lynn Haven 7th Street Drainage Improvements Sealed Bid”. A bid bond or cashier’s check in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany the bid. The Town of Lynn Haven reserves the right to reject all bids. The City also reserves the right to reject contractors who do not meet the minimum required standards and who are not qualified to carry out the work. All Offers will be firm for a period of 90 days after opening. This includes material prices. The offer must comply with Florida Statute Section 287.133(3), Public Entity Crimes. All bidders must comply with all applicable state and local laws regarding licensing, registration and regulations of contractors doing business in Florida. Respondents to this solicitation or persons acting on their behalf may not contact between the posting of the solicitation and the end of the 72-hour period following the agency’s posting of the notice of intended award, at excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, any employee or officer of the executive or legislative branch regarding any aspect of this solicitation, except in writing to the Procurement Officer or as provided in the solicitation materials. Violation of this provision may constitute grounds for rejection of a response. The City will award the contract to the lowest compliant and responsible bidder.
