MPs said they were called to a house on Victoria Road, west of Woodstock, just before 1.30am on a ‘nobody’ call. They said upon arrival that MPs saw several cars pulling away and people running away from what appeared to be a big house party.

MPs said they found a 14-year-old man in the back of an SUV with a gunshot wound to his chest. The teenager was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta with serious injuries.

They said shortly thereafter a 19-year-old man presented to Northside Cherokee Hospital with gunshot wounds to his hand and elbow. He was treated and then released.

MPs said they are still trying to deal with the crime scene and interviewing potential witnesses. So far, they have said they have limited information on what happened and have not been able to identify any suspects.

They ask anyone who has fled the scene or has information about what happened to call them at 678-493-4080.
