Dead Island 2 is confirmed to be “in active development”

Editor deep silver confirmed on website game radar than the long-awaited dead island 2 is “under active development”.

As unbelievable as it sounds, nearly a decade after it was originally announced, we may actually have dead island 2 to look forward to.

Leak Tom Henderson previously pointed to its development, even saying it might be released this year.

“We have confirmed that the game is in active development and will share more details once we are ready,” said deep silver at Gamesradar.

For fans who have waited eight years, this confirmation is amazing to see. It’s just curious what this game will really look like, now that it’s been so long and the game has bounced back and forth between publishers and developers.

It’s also worth wondering whether or not this release will have the kind of splash it might have had, say, six years ago.

With such a time gap since the first and the dozens of other zombie titles we’ve seen since, it begs the question of whether players will care or not. dead island as they could be before.

It’s not entirely set in stone though, as it might liberate and blow everyone away. Of course, for that we will have to wait.
