This time of year is just around the corner, when gamers around the world virtually turn to Los Angeles for the Electronic entertainment fair (E3). An extravaganza of goodies wrapped in a handful of days. Christmas for the players. After a year of pandemic shutdown, E3 returns June 12-15 in an all-virtual event, and the notable live stream schedule is here. Sony would be absent from the event, but there is still a lot to look forward to.

The day before, at 4 p.m., June 11 IGN ‘s clean The summer of the game the season will have a special IGN Expo event to coincide with E3. In their words, this stream will feature “exclusive content that you won’t find anywhere else, including announcements of new games and new gameplay.”

The first to come out of E3 proper will be Ubisoft forward. Ubisoft have already added fuel to the bonfire with October’s gameplay reveal Far cry 6, but at 3 p.m. on June 12 (ET), the publisher will post more information on their upcoming releases.

Microsoft‘s Xbox and Bethesda game showcase, 1:00 p.m. on June 13, will certainly be interesting. The first E3 after the release of the new generation Xbox x series system. Microsoft made acquisitions left and right to strengthen its software influence last year, the largest being Bethesda, the publishers of Doom, Fallout, and Old scrolls. In previous years, Bethesda was a company big enough to host its own standalone showcase at E3, so this year’s change in status quo should be interesting. Wait more Xbox Game Pass news and an update on Infinite halo somewhere in its reported runtime of 90 minutes.

A Future double bill will take place on June 13. First with PC player‘s PC game show will be at 2 p.m. on June 13 dedicated to non-console fans. The show has been around since 2015, “with the aim of uniting the disparate creators and hardware makers who make up the hobby under one roof, highlighting the vibrancy of the open gaming platform.”

With a time yet to be confirmed, will be a special E3 episode of Future-owned GamesRadar ”s Future games fair which started last year. This event will attempt to showcase outstanding titles from small publishers and developers.

Nintendo today announced their plans. 12 p.m. on June 15 will see a 40 minutes Nintendo Direct three hour follow up Treehouse Live gameplay demonstrations. Nintendo had a very good year – it managed to sell 28.83 million Switch systems, and Animal crossing in particular became an unexpected success during the lockdown. Capcom Monster Hunter Rise has also become a recent success. There is hype. And this year is an anniversary year for the The Legend of Zelda and Metroid franchises – with some sort of additional news, revealing or teasing ongoing development Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild eagerly awaited sequel. (And that doesn’t forget the widespread Switch upgrade that could be announced anytime before).
