Great news for “Elden Ring” fans! After a few years of information drought, game enthusiasts can possibly get more details on this at Summer Game Fest, days before E3 2021 kicks off.
Rumors say fans will hear more of Bandai Namco and FromSoftware’s “Elden Ring” this month. The rumors started after a new video aired on the Elden Ring News channel on YouTube on Thursday. The video made both subtle and specific references to the fact that the upcoming game, written by George RR Martin, would appear on Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live on June 10.
Additionally, the channel’s owner Mordecai tweeted a message saying, “Everyone, I’m hopeful today. See everything you see?” The tweet has been arranged in such a way that the first letters of the words spell “Eight Days”, suggesting the countdown to the next Kickoff Live show. The channel’s owner has not disclosed if he has inside information about “Elden Ring”.
GamesBeat video game reporter Jeff Grubb retweeted Modecai’s post and said: “I am optimistic for Elden Ring today.” Interestingly, Grubb previously mentioned that FromSoftware’s next game probably won’t appear in this year’s Summer Game Fest.
Geoff Keighley, one of the organizers of the Summer Game Fest, retweeted a Publish from Earthskyscience on Thursday who said: “On June 10, 2021, the rather distant new moon gives us an annular solar eclipse – ring of fire. A luminous ring, or ring, will surround the silhouette of the moon.”
“Elden Ring” was announced at E3 2019. This year’s Summer Game Fest is expected to feature announcements from various developers and publishers in the game industry. Bandai Namco, the publisher of “Elden Ring”, is here. one of the confirmed companies present at the show. There is a chance he could announce something related to “Elden Ring”.
But there is no official announcement about the game yet. Several reports in the past have raised the possibility that the game will appear at other events, but ultimately never made it out.
