Publisher tinyBuild and developer Acme Gamestudio welcome you to the Guerrilla Collective arena for your first look at one of the titanic clashes of Asterigos: The Curse of the Stars. Coming to consoles and PC and inspired by Greek and Roman mythology, Asterigos takes players to the heart of the cursed city of Aphes, its streets patrolled by swarms of monsters and powerful beasts. Take a look at one of them, Eulalia, the Harpy Queen, in action below.

The battle against Eulalia highlights the strengths and scope of the fight in Asterigos. Players will have to adapt to ranged and close-range combat, taking on both the transformed singer and her harpy minions in a deadly and graceful dance. Think you’re up for the challenge in this Souls-like action RPG? Add the game to your wishlist on Steam now and prepare for battle later this year.

Asterigos holds more than just dramatic battles. Playing as the young warrior Hilda, players will delve into the streets, tunnels, and marble courtyards of Aphes on a quest to unlock its secrets and perhaps break the curse once and for all. A good eye for hidden paths will be key, as well as proficiency with a wide variety of weapons. Sword and shield, dual blades, spears, hammers all have their own strengths. For warriors who prefer a ranged approach, mystical staves and bracelets also offer magical options.

Harpies are just one of the many threats that await in Aphes. With over twenty boss battles and dozens of regular enemy types to cross swords with, the city will test Hilda and her skills to the breaking point. Tackle dangerous side quests as you face increasingly deadly threats. Find forgotten documents and piece together Hilda’s own diary to uncover the truth.

Asterigos also comes as a showcase of the power of the Unreal engine and what small studios can accomplish with it. With detailed cinematic animation and a world full of beautiful vistas to behold, Taiwanese team Acme Gamestudio presents their A-Game.
