The Odisha Personnel Selection Commission (OSSC) is calling for online applications from potential candidates to fill 140 junior assistant positions as people initially appointed under different department heads of the state government.
Online registration for the recruitment campaign will begin on December 22, 2021 and will continue until January 24, 2022. The online application form can be submitted between December 22, 2021 and January 31, 2022.
Mode of application:
Interested candidates can apply for vacancies in online mode only through the official website www.ossc.gov.in. No physical / paper copy of the online application form should be submitted by applicants.
Pay scale and conditions of service:
The salary scale attached to the post is in the PB-I, level 4 of the ORSP rules, 2017, from Rs 199,000 to Rs 63,200. However, upon appointment, the candidate will be eligible to obtain a consolidated salary of Rs 13 300 applicable to post per month for the first year in accordance with Odisha Group-C & D Post Amendment Rule (Contract Appointment), 2021. Salary / pay scale may vary from time to time as per government decision.
Qualification for education:
Applicants must have passed +3 in Arts / Sciences / Business or have another qualification equivalent to the +3 exam with knowledge of computer skills by the last date of submission of the online application form are eligible to apply for the position.
The minimum age for the position is 21 and the maximum is 32 as of 01-01-2021. The upper age limit can be relaxed by 5 years for applicants belonging to ESCB, SC, ST and all female applicants, 10 years for applicants belonging to the PWD category and the total period of service rendered in the defense service. in the case of former soldiers.
Applicants other than SC / ST / PWD (with permanent disability) must pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs 200. The fee can be deposited only through the online mode using Internet Banking / Debit Card / Debit Card credit / other payment available methods related to online application form.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the preliminary examination (qualifying only), the main examination and the computer proficiency test (practical).
